So graduation day was a blast. I still can’t quite believe it’s all over. Three years of hard work has come to an end and I couldn’t have asked for a better uni experience. It’s a really strange feeling coming to the end of official education and having to contemplate what you’re going to do with your life. (Read a little more about my decision to go to uni) I almost feel lost not having to come home from work and be glued to my desk finishing an essay or planning the next assignment. Who am I kidding?! I love it. I can read whenever I please, soak in the bath as long as I like and binge on Netflix. Happy days!
We did the obligatory hat throwing and took a million and one snaps before I headed home with my family to celebrate on the afternoon. I walked into the kitchen to find it decorated with personalised balloons and a fab cake centre table. We tucked into the most delishh spread before I nearly fell off my chair when two Kate Spade boxes where handed over to me. The gifts I received were insane and I can’t thank all of my family enough for their generosity. They exceeded all my expectations and made my graduation a special day to remember.
I’m not usually one for wearing red but I absolutely loved wearing this dress. I only paid £12 for it in the sale from New Look. My best bargain find of the year! The shoes are from Whistles but I can’t link any of the outfit unfortunately as it’s all last season.
I officially have the degree of Bachelor of Arts Second Class Honours (First Division) in Fashion Journalism. Hopefully it will come in handy soon…
